Robert Ryan was born in Los Angeles, California. Very young, through the study of line drawings, he discovers the art of bullfighting and leaves his native country to deepen in the world of the “torus”. A classically trained torero, he acts as a toros killer in the arenas of Mexico, Spain and Portugal and creates an expression that later transfers to his pictorial and written work. He has exhibited painting and photography exhibitions and published several books, articles and essays.
