Obra com a reprodução das páginas finamente iluminadas por uma oficina flamenga com o propósito inacabado de mostrar a união das Casas Reais portuguesa e espanhola, na pessoa do Infante Dom Fernando, antepassado de D. Manuel e igualmente descendente do Conde Dom Henrique e de seu pai o Rei Santo Estevão da Hungria.

The Genealogy of Infante D. Fernando de Portugal, in addition to the excellent introductory text, is a rare and unique piece because it reproduces in full (facsimile) the illuminated manuscript kept in the British Library (ADD.12531). Edited under the auspices of the Commissioner for the 17th European Exhibition of Art, Science and Culture, the Portuguese Discoveries and the Europe of the Renaissance, the Council of Europe and under the sponsorship of Banco Borges e Irmão as part of the celebrations of its first centenary thanks to the courtesy of the British Library.
Work with the reproduction of the pages finely illuminated by the Flemish workshop of Simon Bening an Anthony of Holland, with the uncompleted purpose of showing the union of the Portuguese and Spanish Royal Houses, in the person of the Infante Dom Fernando, ancestor of D. Manuel and also descendant of Count Dom Henrique and his father King Stephen of Hungary.
